MATHEMATICS
I have always felt natural in mathematics. Nothing's better than learning new mathematical concepts and the scenarios in which they can be applied, and I especially love to apply it to analyze stock market trends and predict how the stock prices will be affected by various market stimuli. At this point, I have taken the most advanced math class that my high school offers, and I continue to see the diverse implications that math embodies in our everyday lives. For instance, math is extremely important for a strong computer science foundation, as several areas like discrete mathematics have a large influence on computer science theory.
Fun Fact: I took Precalculus, Algebra II, and College Algebra during the summer of my freshman year so that I could advance to Calculus during my sophomore year!

Calculus AB Student of the Year (2019)
5s on the AP Calculus AB and BC Exams (2019, 2020)
Participated in TLU Bulldog Calculus Showdown (2019)
Participated in the NASA High School Aerospace Scholars Program - significant mathematics presence (2019)
And all of my computer science awards, since computer science is in many ways a branch of applied mathematics :)
